ALAIN ZALOUM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alain Zaloum\u2019s wide-ranging career covers many platforms and genres.  He is a veteran television writer, director and producer of factual, lifestyle and true-crime programs as well as a writer\/director of theatrical feature films, from comedies to thrillers.  Most recently he was co-creator of the acclaimed true-crime Netflix series Real Detective<\/em> and the CSA award winning CBC series The Detectives<\/em>, for which he was nominated twice for a CSA for best writer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His feature films include the thrillers Canvas<\/em> for ABC and Suspicious Minds <\/em>for Lionsgate Pictures starring Patrick Bergin.  He co-wrote and directed the comedy Promise Her Anything <\/em>starring Billy Zane and the award-winning French language comedy and box-office hit C\u2019est Pas Moi, C\u2019est L\u2019Autre <\/em>starring Quebec screen icon Roy Dupuis.  In 2008 Alain moved to Los Angeles where he wrote and directed the award-winning independent film David & Fatima<\/em>, which co-stars Academy Award winning actor Martin Landau and legendary screen icon Tony Curtis, in his last screen performance.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alain operates his own Montreal-based production company \u2013 Slingshot Productions Inc., and has a number of television and feature projects in development. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
